A total of 827 personnel from the Police Regional Office in Caraga (PRO-13) were recently promoted to higher ranks.

In a statement Monday, Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat Jr., PRO-13 chief, welcomed the promotion as a manifestation of the dedication of the Philippine National Police personnel in the Caraga Region to their duties and responsibilities as public servants.

“As your regional director, we have to keep that level of service going and try to find ways to improve on it whenever we can,” Caramat said.

Of the newly-promoted personnel, 54 were commissioned officers, including one police lieutenant colonel, 20 majors, and 33 captains.

A total of 773 non-commissioned officers were also promoted to higher ranks in the region including 81 executive master sergeants, 63 chief master sergeants, 119 staff master sergeants, 72 master sergeants, 37 staff sergeants, and 401 corporals.

The promotions of the 827 personnel took effect last December 1.

“With the new ranks donned to you, continue to serve with integrity and uphold the rule of law. You deserve all the awards and credits given unto you for the unwavering service you commit in the name of public service,” Caramat said.
