From Kalinaw News (May 29, 2021): 68 former rebels receive P3.3M ECLIP aid in Bukidnon
IMPASUGONG, BUKIDNON, Wednesday – A total of 68 Former Rebels (FR) received the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) financial assistance amounting to PhP 3,370,000 at the Kaamulan Folk Arts Theatre, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last May 26, 2021.
The said FRs who surrendered to the 8th Infantry (Dependable) Battalion, 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division were among the 105 beneficiaries who received a total of PhP4,825,000 monetary aid from the Task Force “Balik-loob”. Jengke Alcuizar @Ann, 26, Deputy Secretary of Guerilla Front 89, North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC) expressed, “Sobra ang among kalipay kauban ang akong asawa tungod sa kinasingkasing nga pagdawat kanamo sa gobyerno ug sa paghatag og tabang pinansyal alang sa among pagsugod sa bag-ong pagpangabuhi.” (I together with my husband were overjoyed because the government wholeheartedly accepted us and gave us financial assistance to start anew.)
LTC Edgardo Talaroc Jr, Commander, 8IB said, “Ako nagapasalamat og daku sa atong mga Local Chief Executives (LCE) ug Local Government Units (LGUs) tungod sa ilang walay puas nga suporta sa kahumanan sa ensurhensya.” “Hinaut nga dugang pang myembro sa Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) ang makamata sa pagpangilad sa ilang organisasyon human makaangkon og malinawon nga kinabuhi kauban ang ilang pamilya,” Talaroc ended (I am very thankful to our Local Chief Executives (LCE) and Local Government Units (LGUs) for their unwavering support in ending our local insurgency. I hope that more members of the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) will realize the lies and deception of their organization and live a peaceful life together with their family.)
