An additional 238 police officers have recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the police force's recovery tally to 14,206.
In an update on Friday, Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, Philippine National Police (PNP) deputy chief for administration, said they also recorded 166 new confirmed cases, 156 of which are tagged as new while the remaining 10 as reinfections.
This raises the PNP's cumulative number of Covid-19 cases to 16,770, with 2,524 active cases and 40 deaths.
Meanwhile, the number of PNP personnel vaccinated has reached 4,546, with 2,917 being injected with their first dose of Sinovac and another 1,267 with their second dose.
Those injected with AstraZeneca have reached 1,629.
Meanwhile, around 82 percent of PNP personnel have expressed willingness to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
