When the Road Begins Insurgency Ends: Ground Breaking and MOA Signing Ceremony for the 18 Km ins Road Opening
The Provincial Goverment of Davao Del Norte in collaboration with the Eastern Mindanao Command and the Local Government Units of Kapalong entered an agreement for the implementaion of the Road Widening and Concreting Project in Brgy Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao Del Norte.
In the Ground Breaking and MOA Signing Ceremony held last February 4, 2021 @ 9 oclock in the morning for the Eighteen (18) Kilometers Road Opening from Sitio Biga to Sitio Kampina Brgy Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao Del Norte was graced by Hon. Edwin Jubahib, Provincial Governor of Davao Del Norte together with Congressman Pantaleon Alvarez represented by Atty Ana Alvarez, Mayor Theresa R Timbol, Municipal Mayor of Kapalong, Liuetenant General Jose C Faustino Jr, Commander Eastern Mindanao Command, Major General Reuben S Basiao, Commander, 10ID, PA represented by Brigadier General Maning S TawanTawan, Assistant Division Commander and Brigadier General Luis Rex D Bergante, 1001st Brigade Commander represented by Col Glenn Jun C Calambuhay, Deputy Bde Commander.
This program is a working arrangement by Provincial Governments Office and the Local Government jointly undertaken the planning, budgeting, advocacy for legislation, identification, evaluation, prioritization, regulation, supervision, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of industry-developing infrastructure projects in priority economic and manufacturing zones in Davao Del Norte.
These projects are perceived to accelerate growth and development of trade and commerce particularly in remote areas.
