Sulu Province- Major General Corleto S. Vinluan Jr. PA, Commander of Joint Task Force Sulu and 11th Infantry Division, donned the rank of Brigadier General to the Commander of 1102nd Infantry (Ganarul) Brigade at Kuta Heneral Teodulfo Bautista, Brgy. Bus-bus, Jolo, Sulu, around 11 o’clock in the morning on July 28, 2020.
Brigadier General Ignatius N. Patrimonio PA had reached his well-deserved promotion as he was humbly sharing his contribution to the peace and development in the Province of Sulu.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Patrimonio acknowledged Major General Vinluan, his family, the GANARUL team and the people he worked with who served as his inspirations for the endeavors he had undertaken. He also committed his efforts for peace to prosper in Sulu. “I assure everyone that I will pursue my commitment to accomplish our mission which forms part of Armed Forces of the Philippines’ overall campaign by taking steps further in ending the local armed conflict,’’ he said.
Meanwhile, Major General Vinluan encouraged Brigadier General Patrimonio to maintain the enthusiasm and eagerness in his line of duty. “You have shown your dedication and love of the service. As you continue your career for the good of the service, it is expected that bigger responsibilities will be given to you. Be a good role model of excellence so that our whole organization will have a steady transformation.” he said.
Brigadier General Patrimonio was also tendered with full military honors, giving the Officers and personnel of 11th Infantry Division the pride and honor they deserve as his colleagues.
