GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE. Barely a month after they surrendered to the “Balik-Loob” Assistance Center (BAC) of the Army’s 60th Infantry (Mediator) Battalion (60th IB), 20 former members of the Communist New Peoples’ Army (NPA) have been given a head start in their journey to a new life with immediate cash grants, livelihood support and other interventions extended to them by the government.
