1LT Hazel Joy M. Durotan (FS) Philippine Army, in an interview, said that the event tackled topics on leadership, self-awareness, personality development and various programs and services of the government relevant to the youth.
She commended the parents of these young people for allowing them to learn and mingle with other youth groups.
“May this become a stepping stone for them to become responsible adults that promote peace and development in their communities,” she said
It’s also part of the Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC) activity for the youth, so they become aware of the programs and services of government.
Among the government agencies who shared their programs and services are the Provincial Government of Antique, TESDA, DOLE, Provincial Health Office, DENR, Provincial Social Welfare and Development, Philippine National Police, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Department of Education.
The Philippine Army also expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government through the Peace and Order and Public Safety Office and other partner agencies for supporting this event. (LTP/PSM/PIA-Antique)
