19 more NPA supporters abandon rebel terrorists in Nueva Ecija

Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija – Seeing no light in supporting a wrong cause, 19 Komiteng Larangang Guerilya (KLG) Sierra Madre New People’s Army (NPA) supporters belonging to Milisyang Bayan (MB) and other groups organized by the said terrorist group voluntarily surrendered to Lieutenant Colonel Jose Mari F. Torrenueva II, Commanding Officer of 91st Infantry (Sinagtala) Battalion on November 9, 2019 at Barangay Antipolo, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.

This is the second time in a week that supporters of NPA surrendered to the government. Last November 6, a total of 53 NPA supporters surrendered 84IB in Caranglaan, Nueva Ecija, while 24 NPA supporters surrendered to 91IB in San Lus, Aurora Province. The new batch of surrenderees was accomplished thru the assistance of 84IB, and the 1st Police Mobile Force Company of the PNP Provincial Police Unit in Nueva Ecija.
