An alleged member of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) with his high-powered firearm has surrendered to authorities in Sulu province.
Alhashim Paradji, alias Malla, 41, married and a resident of Barangay Lapa in Maimbung town gave up to the 41st Infantry Battalion commanding officer Lt. Col. Alaric Avelino Delos Santos at the unit’s headquarters in Sitio Bato Habah, Barangay Matatal Monday, October 21.
He turned over his R&R Garand US rifle to the military.
“Paradji operated under ASG sub-leader Jihad Susukan, a.k.a. Idang,” said Delos Santos.
