Sila misaad kanamu nga ila kaming tabangan sa among panginabuhi ug suportahan among pamilya, unya wala kami nadawdaw. Swerte lang namo kay natagaan gyud mi ug panahon nga makaduol balik sa gobyerno. (I am thankful that we have escaped the life we had under the NPAs. We suffered from hunger, fear and exhaustion along the way for the principles contrary to the law that we are fighting for. They promised they will help us from poverty and oppression and they will provide support to our families, but we ended up nothing. Thank you to all the soldiers who helped bringing us back to the folds of the law.),” Lawaan said.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Jaime R Datuin, Commanding Officer of 75IB, in conjunction of efforts of the peace stakeholders and the local government units to suppress Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) terrible act will truly produce good result and therefore decreasing in number of the NPA Terrorists. “Our mission will be your mission, too. As our troops perform their tasks, the LGUs and other agency also performed the tasks given to them. That is why we must work in convergence to accomplish the mission. For the members and supporters of this Terrorists group who surrendered themselves to the government and lay their firearms, I could say that it’s the best and the right choice they’ve made. And they must also encourage their comrades to surrender to the government and start a new life with their families. Hindipa huli ang lahat, sumuko na kayo at kayo’y aming tutulongan para sa pagbabagong hinahangad ninyo.” Datuin said.
