SAN JOSE, Tarlac -- About 500 families from barangay Maamot and Sula in San Jose town benefitted from the Joint Outreach Activity of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and Philippine National Police.

Services provided include medical and dental check-up, free haircut, free appliance repair, feeding, and distribution of medicines, used clothes and toys.

702nd Brigade Commander Brigadier General Henry Robinson said reaching out and helping the populace is one of the priorities of the Philippine Army.

“You (residents) are the highlight of this outreach activity so that you will have the basic social services that you need and deserve,” he emphasized.

“Your security forces are reaching to serve as your companion towards a better life in your respective communities,” Robinson added.

“Together with other government agencies, we will continue to provide basic social services to remote areas within our area of operation,” he furthered.

The activity also featured a puppet show and theater play presentation depicting partnership and unity with the government towards an insurgency-free and peaceful community.
