A peace caravan, from Bais City to Dumaguete City in the north, and from Siaton to Dumaguete in the south, that will meet in Dumaguete for a peace rally will be held on Sept. 28.

To highlight the activity, doves will be released as a symbol of peace, after which the multi-sectoral groups are encouraged to sign in a “Signature for Peace-Wall of Commitment” at Freedom Park in Dumaguete.

The culmination program will be held at the Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete, also on Sept. 18, and expected at the event as guest of honor and speaker is retired Gen. Emmanuel Bautista of the Cabinet Cluster on Security, Justice and Peace of the Office of the President, the press release added.
