Mahadih Abdullah alias ‘Rok’, a terrorist under Commander Bungos faction of Bangsamoro Islamic Freedomm Fighters (BIFF) was arrested on October 17 at Barangay Sambulawan, Datu Salibo, Maguindanao.
The arrest was made possible through joint efforts of by 57th Infantry Battalion, 22nd Mechanized Infantry Company, and Philippine National Police
According to 6th Infantry ‘Kampilan’ Division of Philippine Army, civilian residents tipped that three BIFF members were having a meeting at the area to discuss their possible target for liquidation and planting of improvised explosive devices.

“The operation resulted to the apprehension of Mahadih Abdullah a.k.a. “Rok” under Commander Bungos faction at his residence and seized one fragmentation hand grenade MK-2 and one crystalline substance suspected to be shabu,” 6th Infantry Division said.
6ID commanding general Major General Arnel B. dela Vega lauded the help of concerned informant that provided the whereabouts of the lawless BIFF group, which resulted to the capture of Rok.
