From the Philippine Daily Inquirer (Apr 20): Army in Albay has a new commander
The former deputy commander of the Philippine Army’s 901st Infantry Brigade in Albay has become the unit’s commanding officer.
Colonel Alden Juan C. Masagca was installed as the new commanding officer of 901st IB based in Villahermosa village in Daraga town, 2nd
Lieutenant Rachelle C. Villaluz, 901st IB spokesperson, said.
Masagca was the former deputy commander to Brigadier General Claudio Yucot, who retired from service on April 16.
Masagca is a member of Philippine Military Academy’s “Sinagtala” class 1986, Villaluz said.
