From the Philippine Information Agency (Dec 17): Pres. Duterte to visit wounded soldiers in Zambo

President Rodrigo Duterte is expected to arrive today, December 17, at Camp Navarro 
General Hospital, Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) to visit wounded 
soldiers who were injured in the recent skirmishes with lawless groups in Basilan 
and Sulu province.

Duterte will be visiting seven wounded soldiers namely: PFC Simar H. Salasain, 2SFB, 
SOCOM, PA, who was wounded in Jolo, Sulu; CPL Jerome V. Gonato, 68IB, 1ID, PA; 
PFC Charle Shine O. Carinal, 68IB, 1ID, PA; PFC Romeo G. Ansino, 68IB, 1ID, PA; 
PFC Mitchwayn T. Arsenal, 68IB, 1ID, PA; CPL Ruel J. Tambong, 68IB, 1ID, PA; and 
CPL Ronald Ramos, 68IB, 1ID, PA. The six soldiers were wounded in Sumisip, Basilan.

The President will also award the wounded Personnel Medal (WPM) to SSG Peter M. Ugsod of the 35th IB, 1ID. 
He was wounded in a clash in Barangay Buhanginan, Patikul Sulu on November 16.

The list of names were provided by the Western Mindanao Command (WESTMINCOM).

Duterte will also be giving financial assistance and meet relatives of killed-in-action soldiers.
