From the Philippine Information Agency (Dec 8): Army's 9ID Governance Pathway gaining more grounds
CAMP ELIAS ANGELES Pili, Camarines Sur- Three Infantry Brigades of the 9th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army based in Bicol region recently garnered the Army Governance Pathway (AGP) Plaque of Recognition for compliant-status awarded during the Army Governance Forum 03-2015 held at Ricarte Hall of Philippine Army Officers Club House last December 4.
Col. Claudio L. Yucot, Col. Amador T. Tabuga Jr. and Col. Cesar M. Idio, Commanders of 901st Infantry Brigade, 902nd Infantry Brigade and 903rd Infantry Brigade respectively, received the plaques as recognition for their advancement to 2nd Stage of the four-way Army Governance Pathway.
The Army Governance Pathway (AGP) were conferred to units for garnering the highest points in the implementation of the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR) which aims to transform the Army into a more capable, responsive, reliable, and professional organization committed to its mandate.
The 9th Infantry Division so far is the only Philippine Army Division where all of its three Brigades were conferred the AGP compliant-status.
BGen Ferdinand F. Quidilla, 9ID Commander, lauded the 9ID Brigade Commanders for their achievement and commitment in the Army Transformation Roadmap.
9ID will continue to pursue in achieving the Institutionalized-status in accordance with the Philippine Army’s journey towards transformation.
Mr. Guillermo Luz, Private Sector Co-Chair of the National Competitiveness Council was Guest of Honor and Speaker for the event.
The Army Governance Forum 03-2015 that carried a theme “Excellence in Governance” showcased the activities to communicate the Army strategy to internal stakeholders and provided updates on the Army’s recent success as an Island of Good Governance (IGG) inductee.
