In a bid to improve the offensive capabilities of all its
active warships, the Philippine Navy (PN) is allocating PhP24,000,000 for the
acquisition of 4,000 CTG 25mm high-explosive ammunition.
Winning bidders are required to deliver the munition within
90 calendar days.
Pre-bid conference is scheduled for June 10, 1 p.m. at the
Office of the PN Bids and Awards Committee, Bonifacio Naval Station, Fort Bonifacio ,
Taguig City
The munition is for the use of all Filipino naval vessels
mounting the 25mm "Bushmaster" auto-cannon.
The "Bushmaster" cannon is the secondary armament
of the three JCPV (Jacinto Class Patrol Vessels) and two Gregorio Del Pilar
frigates currently in PN service.
