From InterAksyon (Mar 5): 2 alleged NPA commanders nabbed in Caloocan - AFP
Two alleged communist rebel commanders, one from Mindoro, the other from Panay, were arrested by police and military agents in Caloocan City Wednesday night, the Armed Forces said Thursday.
Lieutenant Colonel Harold Cabunoc, chief of the AFP public affairs office, said Emmanuel Bacara and Ruben Saluta are the subjects of several warrants of arrest issued by courts in Quezon, Antique and Occidental Mindoro, where they are facing charges ranging from arson to murder.
They are also facing rebellion charges.
Cabunoc said the arrests came after several months of collaboration between the military and police.
