The video purports to be an example of AFP human rights abuse in the S. Philippines. No date, place, unit, or circumstances involved are initially provided with the video. There is a later post that claims that unconfirmed information indicates the incident took place in Barangay Libutan, in the Muncipality of Mamasapano in Maguindanao Province.
ReplyDeleteThe intent of the video is obviously to stir up Muslim/Moro passions against the alleged depredations of the Philippine military and to reinforce the theme of Muslims/Moros as victims of government/military abuse.
Just a note of caution: The Nur Misuari Facebook page has posted false and misleading anti-government/military propaganda material in the past.
