From the Philippine News Agency (Nov 27): Soldiers finish training
course
One-hundred forty soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division based in Camp Macario
Peralta, Jamindan, Capiz successfully hurdled a grueling six months course in
Basic Army Training (BAT).
In a simple graduation rites at Camp Peralta over the weekend, Army Major
Gen. Jose Mabanta, Jr., 3rd Infantry Division Commander exhorted his troops to
always live up to the ideals and discipline of a courageous man in uniform and
encouraged them to be at their best while in the performance of their duties as
defenders of the people and country.
Mabanta said the graduates will augment the Philippine National Police (PNP)
in the keeping peace during the 2013 election.
