Celebrity peace ambassadors are set to lead a government package of entertainment and relief food distribution today for residents here and nearby areas, especially the internally-displaced villagers. The Office of Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP) said actor Epy Quizon, singers Ebe Dancel and Khomeini Bansuan will perform their roles as peace ambassadors through instant entertainments combining musical and comical presentations with a child feeding program and distribution of footballs for the children of conflict-affected residents.... According to Cunanan, the OPAPP is also arranging immersion visits of other ambassadors of peace to other conflict-affected areas in Mindanao in the succeeding weeks.... Aleosan is one of five towns in North Cotabato where 39 barangays (villages) that voted for inclusion in area of autonomy in the 2001 plebiscite would form part of the Bangsamoro entity envisaged under the framework agreement signed on October 15 by the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).
