Rear Admiral Jose Luis Alano, a former commander of the Philippine fleet, has been named as the new commander of the Armed Forces Central Command (Centcom) based in Camp Lapu-Lapu in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.... Alano, a member of the Philippine Military Academy class '79, also served as chief of naval staff, commander of the Naval Forces Northern Luzon, Service Force and the Naval Air Group....
