On this day, we remember the life and legacy of former President and AFP Chief of Staff, Fidel V Ramos.Born in Pangasinan, his passion for service was first inspired by his mother who was an educator and his father who has served as the Foreign Affairs Secretary. President Ramos attended the United States Military Academy where he earned his degree in military engineering. He has since then spent most of his career in the military service. The former AFP Chief of Staff was elected by the Filipino people in 1992 as the country’s 12th President.
