MAWAB, Davao De Oro – The Multi-Sector Advisory and Action Group (MSAAG) of the 10th Infantry “Agila” Division, Philippine Army convened its 1st Quarter Regular Meeting at Bayanihan Hall, Naval Station Felix Apolinario, Panacan, Davao City via video-teleconferencing and face-to-face platform spearheaded by its chairperson, Mr. Ednar Dayanghirang and Agila Division Commander MGen Nolasco A Mempin on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

During the meeting, a conferral of Army Governance Pathway(AGP) was given to the nine (9) subordinate units of the Agila Divison. 60th Infantry Battalion (IB) and the 25IB were awarded Institutionalized Status while 89IB, 39IB, 10th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Battalion, 10th Military Intelligence Battalion (MIB), Service Support Battalion (SSBn), Headquarters and Headquarters Service Battalion (HHSBn) and 10th Division Training School (10DTS) were awarded the Proficient Status.

Significant accomplishments of 10ID including effective implementation of Executive Order Number 70 (EO 70) and updates on the Army Transformation Roadmap were also presented to MSAAG members.

Moreover, Mr. Ednar Dayanghirang emphasized during the discussion that members of MSAAG should agree on a common platform to help sustain the gains of the Agila Division. “Mapagpatuloy man o hindi ang Executive Order 70, dapat ma continue ang programs na tulad nito,” Dayanghirang said.” On behalf of the members of the MSAAG, I wish to congratulate the 10ID, may we be able to also address other issues and finally end local communist armed conflict,” he added.

Meanwhile, MGen Mempin also extends his sincere appreciation to the members of MSAAG for the invaluable support they provided to the Agila Division. “As we continue to pursue our quest in attaining our vision of becoming a world-class army that is a source of national pride in 2028, we hope that you extend the same support and guidance that you have so generously shared as we also pursue our mission of ending the local communist insurgency in Southern Mindanao before the term of President Duterte ends,” MGen Mempin added.

The 10ID Multi-sector Advisory and Action Group is the third-party advisory committee that oversees the continuity, sustainability, and shared responsibility in pursuing the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR) as translated into the 10ID Performance Governance Scorecard and its subsidiary units.
