Barangay Mahayag, Davao City- The group of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Davao Midtown-Airport Eagles Club prepares for the intervention Program, “Balik Pamayanan” that will launch to its constituents in the hinterlands of Paquibato this coming Saturday, October 9, 2021.

A new intervention program of the 1003rd Brigade, “Balik Pamayanan” Program in partnership with the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Davao Midtown-Airport Eagles Club focus its target towards the family of the slain rebels to have a healing and reconciliation between the troops and supported by the third party or partner NGOs. The concept is a social cohesion and reconciliation for the families of the slain rebel.

It can be recalled that most of the NPA slain has a family, through which if one NPA is killed, expectedly there are ten of his relatives and family members become potential recruits. Through the CNN’s “arouse, organize and mobilize”, they are easily recruited and become members of the CNN.

The member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Davao Midtown-Airport Eagles Club had their orientation of the program at Headquarters ,1003rd Brigade presenting the concept, intervention and commitment of the group as the third party in the reconciliation process that later co-owned the program. They commit to support the program in a duration until the family of the former rebels can adapt and affiliate to the mainstream of the society.

From the heart of the applicant of the Eagles Fraternal it’s a small item giving to their target audience but for the receiver a big start for the education and a day to day survival. The items consist of backpack, 5 kls rice, 4 sardines and safety and health materials for the targeted 100 families of slain rebels in Paquibato District, Davao City.

COLONEL CONSOLITO P YECLA MNSA PA, Commander, 1003rd Brigade said that as our call to help for the families of the slain rebels, we have seen that there are groups and organizations that are ready to help them so that they can feel the sincere love of our countrymen for them behind the mistakes made by their relatives. “There are many ways to solve our problems aside from fighting. Let us participate and help in peacefully solving our problems” he added.
