Army Major Cenon Pancito III said that communist rebels cannot be “Cardo Dalisay”, the fictional police officer in a television series.
“First of all, they are not immortal, they can be killed in the battlefield, and they don’t intend to help,” Pancito, spokesperson of the 3rd Infantry Division of the Philippine Army, said.
He added that New People’s Amy rebels are intensifying their forced recruitment of children, who might be drawn to the armed rebels, thinking that they are like “Cardo Dalisay”.
