ISABELA CITY, Basilan – The Fourth Special Forces Battalion headed by Lieutenant Colonel Alex D Ampati, the Commanding Officer, rendered honor to Police Brigadier General Victor Wanchakan, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration PNP Police Regional Office IX here at Headquarters, Barangay Cabunbata on July 02, 2021.
Police Brigadier General Wanchakan is a Special Forces trooper and an Airborne. A member of Special Forces Operation Class 69 in the year 1992 and is currently assigned at PRO 9 based in Zamboanga City.
The event exhibited the harmonious relationship of the Army and PNP which strengthens the camaraderie among servicemen. Collaboration and cooperation between these two units greatly contribute to bolster peace and development in Basilan.
Also present in the activity were, Police Lieutenant Colonel Junpikar Sitin, Chief of Police – ICPS, Police Major Cristoferson Nullar, the Commanding Officer of 54th Special Action Company, other officers and enlisted personnel.
