A New People’s Army rebel was arrested in San Francisco, Surigao del Norte on Friday.
Daniel Betita, 26, is a member of the Guerrilla Front 16-B of the Northeastern Mindanao Regional Committee, according to Caraga police director Brig. Gen. Romeo Caramat.
Police said Betita is among those tagged in the killing of barangay kagawad Johnny Bernadez.
