Five dead on the NPA side during joint Task Force South / MBLT4 operation earlier today at am in Bgy Hot Brookes Point, Palawan.
3rd Marine Brigade Commander Brig has confirmed three of these. Gen. Nestor Herico with High Value Individual. These were identified with Bonifacio Magramo also known by Salvador Luminoso, Andrea Rosal and Ka Cilnon.
According to Brig. Gen. Herico took nearly three days of preparation for the operation which provided information on the rebels were of great help. This includes the Local Government of Brooke's Point and its citizens who served as barangay information net.
′′ We also recovered some weapons used by rebels, also like laptops, cell phones and other things for their operation. It is also with the help of the citizens in the town of Brooke's Point who continue to give us support and valuable information ′′ according to Brig. Gen. Herico.
The leadership of the Brooke's Point led by Mayor Mary Jean Feliciano to the military group was so thankful that the rebellious people were caught in their place. Please call to the people of Brooke's Point not to support any act of rebel in their place
′′ so we also encourage IP brothers and sisters in the mountains to come down here so they won't be recruited in the mountains and not supporting NPA's activities, others are scaring them so NPA can explore their places ′′ according to them Mayor Feliciano.
Meanwhile, the Government has promised that despite the NPA's fight against the government they will still achieve good wake and burial. For now the remnants of the rebels of the stolen rebels will be turned over at the Municipal Task Force ELCAC of Brooke's Point Palawan and the families of those who died can take it.
