Posted to Kalinaw News (Sep 23, 2020): NPA Losing Ground with More Surrenderees
Said surrenderees identified as Lito Migon Mabasa former Milisyang Bayan and Amelbic Llianos Talingting who was the Chairperson of Komiteng Rebolusyonaryo sa Barangay Sanghay, Mati City handed over 2 improvised explosive device (IED) and one (1) rifle grenade left by fleeing NPA.
“The end is near for the NPA in the province due to surrender of regular and mass supporters”, Ednar Dayanghirang revealed.
“IED can inflict damage to anybody. We thank the civilians for their continuing support to the government that led to the surrender and recovery of IEDs,” COL KRISHNAMURTI A MORTELA of 701st Infantry Brigade pointed out.
