CAMP Siongco, Maguindanao – The troops of 33rd Infantry Battalion under 6th Infantry Division have recovered components of Anti-Personnel Mines in the continuing military operations in Barangay Saniag, Ampatuan, Maguindanao at 9:00 in the morning of September 22, 2020.

The items recovered include two bottle 1ltr battery solution, two bottles hydrogen peroxide 500ml, 1/2 kg propellant charge ctg .50 cal, one pack baking soda 227gm, one each pyrex tube 100ml, one each pyrex tube 1000ml, one each thermometer kit, 1/2 kg propellant charge ctg .30 cal, one each scope, one bottle hydrochloride 30ml, one box machinery- nagel, one pack aluminum flash powder 200grams, ISIS Flag and subversive documents containing marksmanship and bomb making manuals.

“I commend the troops for their successful recovery of these anti-personnel mines and war materials. The terrorist group will now have lesser capabilities to conduct terroristic attacks against our troops and the civilian populace” said Maj. Gen. Juvymax R. Uy, Commander of Joint Task Force Central and 6th Infantry (KAMPILAN) Division.
