BALER, Aurora – The 91st Infantry (Sinagtala) Battalion, 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army under the leadership of LTC REANDREW P RUBIO INF (GSC) PA spearheaded series of consultation meetings in coordination and collaboration with the LGUs and NGAs held at Barangays Ligaya and Bagong Sikat, both of Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija; Zabali, Baler and Cozo, Casiguran, both of Aurora on July 10, 28, and 29, 2020 respectively.

The activity was part of the ongoing Community Support Program (CSP) at said Barangays purposely to address and to resolve issues and concerns and to prevent the NPA terrorists and its front organizations from exploiting same.

Among the agencies who attended were DENR, DAR, PAO, IPMR, NCIP, PNP, APECO, and LGUs of Gabaldon, Baler, and Casiguran.

Concerned LGUs expressed their gratitude to 91IB for the initiative in spearheading the activity which was also appreciated by the beneficiaries as they are enlightened by the explanations and plans and programs of the different participating agencies

LTC RUBIO also thanked the concerned agencies for sharing their time and resources.

“Your presence means a lot and greatly helped the overall efforts in the implementation of National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC),” RUBIO said.

Meanwhile, BGEN ANDREW D COSTELO PA, Commander of 703rd Infantry (Agila) Brigade appreciated the effort of SINAGTALA troopers who in one way or another contributed much in pursuing lasting peace and development.

“The conduct of said meetings will significantly affect the ideological, political, and organizational works of the Communist Terrorist Groups within our Area of Responsibility,” COSTELO said.
