A Former Rebel who recently surrendered to the 71st Infantry Kaibigan Battalion revelead the location of an ammo cache and anti-personnel mine (APM) at Brgy. Cabuyoan, Mabini, Davao de Oro on July 27, 2020.
The surge of surrenderees has significantly helped the Eastern Mindanao Command and its ground units recover various arms/ammo caches during the year, which resulted to the gradual weaking of the firepower of Communist Terrorist Groups in Eastern Mindanao.
