CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao– Twenty Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) rebels who previously surrendered to the government in North Cotabato were beneficiaries of Returnee Comprehensive Aftercare Program (RCAP)
The program formally opened yesterday at 8:00 a.m. in 602nd Infantry Brigade Headquarters, Camp Lucero, Carmen, NorthCotabato in cooperation with the different government agencies and local government units in the area of operations.
The program aimed toorient and enlighten our surrenderers thru government’s sincerity inassistingthem to start a new life and abandon wrong cause and false ideologies, return to their families, live peacefully and be responsible citizens in the mainstream society.
In his message, 602nd Brigade Commander, Brig. Gen. Roberto S. Capulong said “Angtinginkosainyodati ay matatapanglang, perongayon, kayo ay sobrangtapangdahilnagtagumpay kayo sahindibironglaban. Laban paratalikuranangteroristanggrupo,labanparamanaigangpagpapahalaga at pagmamahalsapamilyaat labanparasakapayapaanngatingInang Bayan. Binabatikopokayonglahat, nawa’ypatnubayan at gabayantayoni Allah.”
“Ako ay nanawagangmulisalahatngmgakasaping BIFF at saiba pang mgateroristanggruponamagbalikloobsagobyerno. Huwagninyongpalampasin at sayanginangpagkakataongmabuhayngpayapa, kapilinganginyongmgamahalsabuhay. Magsama-samatayoupangmapanatiliangkatahimikan at katiwasayansaatingkomunidad,” Brig. Gen. Capulong stressed.
