Monsalve said the two turned themselves over to members of the Regional Intelligence Unit 10 in Barangay Nacional in Jimenez, Misamis Occidental after sending words they area already tired of living in the mountains and would want to return to the mainstream of society.
Monsalve said Camanian was also designated by the rebel movement as a ‘Poli-Kalihim’ or a vice-mayor in the municipality in their area where he was designated as the one in-charge of supervising all their team leaders.
On the other hand, Solon was identified as an NPA intelligence officer since 2012 and operating in the 1st district of Misamis Occidental down to the areas of Tambulig and Molave municipalities in Zamboanga del Sur.
