Camp Darapanan , Sultan Kudarat , Maguindanao. Some fifty (50) Key leaders of Moro Islamic Liberation Front Provincial Political Committee (MILF-POLCOM) of Northern Sulu conducted an advocacy on Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) in coordination with the 1st Battalion of 117th Base Command of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) held at Barangay Siet Higad , Bilal Tangkian , Panamao , Sulu on September 23, 2018.
The advocacy aims to strengthen the MILF - BIAF relationship towards unity and solidarity and have a better understanding on the salient features of BOL.
Municipal Political Committee Chairman Gulam Amil in his opening message appealed to his barangay constituents to help advocate the BOL and campaign for the Yes vote come January 21, 2019 plebiscite.
SWC Provincial Chairperson Sitti Ruaida I. Ismi shared her thoughts on unity and solidarity of Muslim Ummah as embodied in the Quran and Hadith.
SWC Vice Chairperson for Rehabilitation and Relief Sharifa Norma Ali advised all SWC members to cooperate and coordinate with their respective barangay officials regarding their activities for guidance.
Provincial Committee Chairman Abdulmotalib K. Ismi in his message requested all Municipal and Barangay Committees within his AOR to follow guidelines towards peace and solidarity in their common cause and appealed to BIAF members to cooperate with their respective officers to avoid misunderstanding that will lead to fitna.
He also advised the participants to double their efforts of ensuring the ratification of the BOL this coming plebiscite.
