FORT ANDRES BONIFACIO, Taguig City (DWDD) – Army Major Francis A Señoron, was selected by Metrobank Foundation Incorporated (MBFI) as one of the 10 Outstanding Filipino for year 2018.
Guided by the theme of “Beyond Excellence” a Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipino is recognized for rendering service above and beyond his call of duty.
With his ingenuity and background in electronics, he was instrumental in devising Electric Blasting Galvanometer and Improvised Explosive Devised (IED) disruptor, an instrument capable of detecting and measuring electric current to deter possible explosion of IEDs to protect the force. His innovations have made the overall process of bomb disposal and management more efficient and safer booth for troops and civilians in the line of fire.
Maj Señoron, along with other awardees will receive 1 Million cash incentive, a gold medallion and a trophy which will be conferred during the formal ceremony on September 7, 2018 at Metrobank Plaza, Makati City in conjunction to Metrobank’s 56th anniversary celebration. TOPS 2018 / MCAG
