Capt. Roel Llanes’ claim of an alleged encounter in Sitio Mamaho-paho, Brgy. San Agustin, Isabela, Negros Occidental is embarrassing. No legitimate encounter occurred in the said area. Instead, a misencounter between 94th Infantry Battalion Philippine Army troops.
According to residents there are wounded and casualties among the military. But they deliberately deny this to the public to cover up their foolishness.
The LPC-NPA condemns the indiscriminate firing of the 94th IBPA. This caused fear and terror amongst innocent farmers in the area.
The LPC calls on all NPA units to wholeheartedly defend the peasant masses and their livelihood against military abuses.
Launch widespread tactical offensives in response to the scripted and deceitful State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the fascist, militarist and warmonger US-Digong Duterte.
