The Federation of Bangsamoro Civil Society Organization (FBCSO) conducted a Community Leaders Peace Dialogue at Davao City on March 30, 2018.

The activity was organized by Davao Bangsamoro Sigay for Peace and Development under the leadership of President Eddie S. Empal.

The Davao Bangsamoro Sigay for Peace and Development is one of the 138 member - organizations of FBCSO and its president is likewise, the Focal Person of FBCSO Davao City.

The said event was attended by Bangsamoro Community Leaders from Campostela Valley (CONVAL), Davao Oriental, Davao del Norte and Sur, And Davao City.

FBCSO President Junn P. Salik gave an orientation on the importance of civil society organization in nation building and defined its role in the establishment of the proposed Bangsamoro Government.

Salik also imparted the dynamics on how the Congress works on their legislative measures especially the passage of Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL).

He also delved on the status of BBL in congress and its possible timeline for passage by congress.

UstadZ Yusoph Lumambas, Secretary - General of United Youth for Peace and Development (UNYPAD) led the plenary and advised the participants to commit themselves in sustaining the gains of the Bangsamoro Peace Process.
