From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Oct 3): BANGON MARAWI | Weaving Trainer’s Training for Women of Marawi
LANAO DEL SUR (DWDD) – Sinagtala Center for Women and Children partnered with the Joint Task Group Tabang for the conduct of Weaving Trainer’s Training at the Lanao del Sur provincial capitol.
The training is being attended by women from the different evacuation centers and will last for two weeks.
Graduates of this training will be utilized to train other weavers in their respective evacuation center.
This project is launched in order to preserve the Maranao culture of weaving that is rich in Marawi City. JTGTabang/MCAG
