Beltran said a group of 15 NPA rebels surrounded the bunkhouse of Ramona Construction Firm and poured gasoline and set fire several parked dump trucks and heavy equipment.

The bunkhouse guard and construction workers were helpless since they were surrounded by heavily armed NPA rebels.

The burned heavy equipment are as follows: one unit Mitsubishi Canter; one unit Mitsubishi mini Dump Truck; and, one unit Isuzu dump truck.

Combined police and soldiers rushed but the NPA rebels were gone when they arrived at the place of the incident.

He encouraged the public to report any sightings of the NPA and their atrocities immediately to authorities or to the nearest police station.
