Are you interested to join the Philippine Air Force?

Interested applicants can have their chance to get in as the Philippine Air Force (PAF) announced the conduct of its entrance examination for the recruitment process of Candidate Soldiers (CS) in the Visayas.

First Lieutenant Jestoni Ortega, acting civil military officer of the PAF’s 560th Air Base Wing based in Mactan, said the entrance examination is scheduled on June 28 and 29 at the Mactan – Benito Ebuen Air Base in Lapu-Lapu City.

Ortega encouraged those who are willing to join the PAF to file their application on or before the scheduled examination.

In order to qualify, an applicant must be at least 18 years of age but not more than 26 years old and a bona fide Filipino citizen. He or she must have taken at least 72 units in college or a graduate under the K-12 program.

A height requirement of at least five feet is set for both male and female applicants.

Air woman Verna Mae Lañada of the public affairs of the PAF’s 560th Air Base Wing, also added that aspiring PAF CS must be mentally and physical fit for military training and must be of good moral character.

Together with the application form, CS aspirants are required to submit two pieces of 2x2 ID pictures,  original and photo copy of the birth certificate authenticated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and photocopy of the Transcript of Records (for College and K-12 Graduates) or Certification of Grades for those with at least 72 units taken in college.

Walk-in applicants may be accommodated as long as they bring the complete documents as required.
