From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Mar 17): CRSAFP Celebrates its 66th Anniversary
Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City– The Civil Relations Service Armed Forces of the Philippines celebrates its 66th Anniversary.
AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Marine Colonel Edgard Arevalo welcomed the stakeholders and awardees.
Arevalo said that this is a splendid occasion to recognize individuals and organizations that never fail to help CRS on attaining its mission.
Looking back on CRS’ history, Brigadier General Ronnie Evangelista, Commander,CRSAFP, said that he will continue the legacy of the past 35 Commanders of CRS, and with the help of each and every personnel, they will reach the goals of CRS.
Evangelista also introduced the awardees.
The awardees were as follows:
Best Civilian Employee – Mark Miranda CE
Best Enlisted Personnel –Sgt. Ellaine Duran
Best Officer – Lt. Col. Marlowe Patria
Best Unit – 7th Civil Relations Group,CRSAFP
Stakeholders and partners who never ceased to show support were also present in the event and they were given certificates of appreciation for their unending effort.
Bantay Bayanihan, React-CRS, DENR National Capital Region, Hope Inc., Mr. Rolly Canon of DWDD Kanyon, ICEP, Yes for Peace Movement, and Teach Peace Build Peace Inc.
As a proud Radio Station, our very own Mr. Rolly Canon, program host of KANYON is also an awardee for his invaluable service rendered as volunteer radio commentator.
Major General Melquiades Feliciano, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil Military Operations spearheaded the said event as a guest of honor and speaker. He also expressed his gratitude to these individuals and organizations.
