From DWDD AFP Civil Relations Service Radio Website (Mar 15): Government troops encounters five NPA in Camarines Norte
On March 15, 2017, at around 5:30 AM today troops of 9th Infantry Division encountered five NPA members at Sitio Public, Brgy Itok, Capalonga, Camarines Norte.
The firefight lasted for five minutes.
The encounter resulted to the recovery of 1 M16 A4 rifle, 3 magazines with ammunitions, personal belongings and one (1) unidentified cadaver.
Brigadier General Rolando Manalo, Commander, 902nd Infantry Brigade, Philippine Army said the encounter happened after information received from the community that a group of armed men was sighted in the area.
