From the Philippine News Agency (Feb 18): PVAO sets up special desk at PMA alumni homecoming in Baguio
The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), in coordination with the Philippine Military Academy (PMA), has set up a Help Desk at the academy to enable PMA alumni who could not come to the PVAO’s office in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City to update their records while attending the annual PMA homecoming in Baguio City on Saturday.
“This program aims to reach out to PEEMAYER veterans and pensioners, attending the alumni reunion and will have to update records without the need of personally appearing in Camp Aguinaldo separately,”.
They will be joined by the Armed Forces of the Philippines Pension and Gratuity Management Center that also provides the same services to AFP pensioners, he added.
Aguilar said the PVAO Help Desk is only until February 18.
Retired Lt. Gen. Ernesto Carolina, PVAO administrator, thought of setting up the special Help Desk because most of the PMA alumni who attend the homecoming come from all parts of the country and abroad.
PMA is the country’s premiere military training school of the AFP for more than a century. It is located in Baguio City.
