From the Philippine News Agency (Sep 5): 10th ID gets 86 brand-new trucks, ambulances

The Compostela Valley-based 10th Infantry Division has formally received and commissioned into service 82 brand-new KM-450 1 ¼ ton troop carrier trucks ton troop carrier trucks and four KM-451 ambulances Monday.

This was confirmed by 10th Infantry Division public affairs office chief Capt. Rhyan Batchar in a message to the PNA.

Send-off ceremonies took place at Camp Manuel T. Yan, Barangay Tuboran, Mawab, Compostela Valley.

He added that each battalion of the 10th Infantry Division will be given four KM-450 trucks each while its brigades will get three KM-450 and one KM-451 ambulance.

The vehicles started arriving by August, with the 10th Infantry Division's vehicle complement being completed by September 2.

Batchar said the new trucks will greatly boost their mobility and disaster response capabilities.
