The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has allocated the
sum of PHP13,152,550 for the acquisition of 145 units of assault rifles.
These weapons must have a 14.5 inch barrel.
Winning bidders are required to deliver the weapons within
140 calendar days, the bid bulletin posted at the Philippine Government
Electronic Procurement System said.
Pre-bid conference is on Thursday, 9:00 a.m. at the GHQ Bids
and Awards Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Bulwagang Syquio, Camp
Aguinaldo , Quezon City
Meanwhile, opening and submission of bids is on July 21, at
the same venue.
