The Department of National Defense (DND) is allocating the sum of PHP64,610,000 for the acquisition of 7,000 rounds of 25mm high-explosive incendiary-tracer (HEI-T) for the Philippine Army (PA).

Funds from the project will be sourced from "FY 2015 General Appropriations" and "Philippine Army Appropriation CY 2015".

The 25mm HEI-T round is the ammunition used to arm the PA's 25mm automatic cannons.

Winning bidders are required to deliver the items within 180 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

Bidders should have completed, within the last five years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a single largest similar completed contract equivalent to at least 25 percent of the approved budget for the contract, DND bids and awards chair Assistant Secretary Ernesto Boac said.

Bid opening is on July 5, 10 a.m. at the DND Bids and Awards Committee Conference Room, Basement Left Wing, DND Building, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
