From Update.Ph (Apr 27): 297 ROTC cadets train under Agila Division
297 Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) cadets have undergone a three-day Youth Leadership Summit (YLS) that started April 25 at the grounds of grounds of 11th Regional Community Defense Group (11RCDG) of the Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) at Mintal, Davao City.
The said Summit is part of the ongoing ROTC Summer Camp Training and Advance ROTC Academic Phase for ROTC cadets coming from different schools and universities of Regions 11 and 12, the 10th Infantry ‘Agila’ Division said.
The leadership training was made possible under the cooperation of 11RCDG and the 10th Civil Military Operations Battalion (10CMOBn) of 10ID.
10CMOBn Commander Lieutenant Coronel Ronaldo Valdez welcomed the participants and assured them that the YLS will help them as they go along with the ROTC program.
11RCDG Commander Colonel Lyndon Paniza said that YLS has been part of the 10ID’s effort to encourage the youth become good, responsible and law abiding citizens.
