    A quick glance at the protest placards indicates that the anti-US demonstrators are just the usual commie suspects. The placards suggest that at least one of the organizations conducting the protest action is the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN-New Patriotic Alliance), the main CPP-affiliated multisectoral umbrella front group active in the Philippines.
